More than 20 years ago, David coined the term "neuroleadership", and began building the NeuroLeadership Institute, a cognitive science consultancy that has advised more than 60% of the Fortune 100. He continues to shape NLI’s path forward by bringing neuroscientists and leadership experts together, and consulting with C-suite executives.

David is the author of four books including Your Brain at Work and has written for and been quoted in Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, CNBC, Forbes, and more.

Originally from Australia, David moved to the U.S. in 2010. He holds a professional doctorate in leadership neuroscience from Middlesex University.
